To Export/Import a Configuration Between Projects

You can use the configuration setup of one project for another project by exporting and importing the configurations.
  1. In ConstructSim Executive, from the Tools menu, select Configure Data Processing. The Data Processing Configuration Wizard opens.
  2. Go through the panes and set up the configuration for your project.
  3. From the Tools menu, select Export configuration. The Export dialog opens.
  4. Select the configurations you want to export.
  5. Click Browse to select the location where you want to save the export file.
  6. Click Export. A zip file is created of the configuration. The File field shows the name of the zip file.
  7. In ConstructSim Executive, go to the project in which you want to re-use the same configuration.
  8. From the Tools menu, select Import Configuration. The Import dialog opens.
  9. Click Browse.
  10. In the Choose import file dialog, select the zip file.
  11. Click Import.
    The configuration is imported into the other project.
